The Return of the Joint SSIB/York House Plant Sale and Coffee Morning June 4th 2022

Though in 2021 SSIB had a modest plant sale, in 2022 we were determined to return to the razzmatazz of previous years – joining together with a York House Coffee Morning – and inviting the bard of Stony Stratford to declaim a verse to mark the event. Introduced by the Town Cryer in full, flamboyant, the bard had written an impressive horticulturally flavoured verse, which we all appreciated. And after this, the Stony Stratford Theatre Group provided some thespian diversion too. Importantly, we made the fabulous sum of nearly £1,200 from plants, raffle and bric-a-brac combined – which all helps us to keep Stony Stratford looking beautiful!
