Maintaining the Perennial Flower Beds as Part of Our Allowed Daily Exercise

We were very relieved that the government allowed exercise during lockdown, and a number of volunteers availed themselves of this to do a spot of weeding of the perennial flower beds around the town as they passed. Now that regulations have eased yellow hi-vis vests can be spotted head down amongst the weeds in small, socially distanced work parties. to make sure that the beds don’t become over-grown – and volunteers have been very touched by the appreciative comments of passers-by.
