The Big Lunch > A SSIB Jubiliee Children’s Planting Event June 5th 2022

After a gap of two years because of the pandemic, the Town Council once again organised a Big Lunch Event in the Wolverton Rd Rec on June 5th, and SSIB was happy to offer another children’s planting activity at this event. It’s always a delight to see the delight with which the children proudly walk away with the pot that they’ve planted up – this year with golden French marigolds. Kate and Ben Shaw had made of gold card and sticks, 50 number 70s with a crown on top, and the children thoroughly enjoyed popping these into their pot
