November Fund-Raising Meal November 3rd 2021

During the first year of Covid it wasn’t possible to have our usual fund-raising meal at the wonderful Calcutta Brasserie, but in November 2021 we felt that people would enjoy a return to this important event on the Stony Stratford calendar, and the Calcutta Brasserie management were happy to help us to do this. We reduced numbers from the usual 100 to 50, so guests would feel entirely comfortable, and Calcutta Brasserie laid on the usual sumptuous banquet. People and businesses donated generously to the raffle, and with Calcutta generously giving us £5 for each banquet ticket sold, plus takings from the raffle, we made the substantial sum of £531!
