Golden Blooms Cheer the Town as Winter Gives Way to Spring

The pansies and daffodils and tulips planted in the autumn in the perennial beds and planters start to bloom gloriously as the spring sun warms up the soil. Horsefair Green Memorial Gardens, planted and maintained by the Horsefair Green Residents Group, looked spectacular, as did the Fullers Slade Beds, the 4 Seasons Garden on Calverton Augustus Rd, and the Library and Exotic beds. The pansies and polyanthus in the planters helped to light up the High St and bring a spring to the step.
