The SSIB Plant Sale/Tombola + York House Coffee Morning – And much more!

As has become a tradition – the SSIB Plant Sale + Tombola and York House Coffee Morning was the occasion for a fabulous coming together of all that makes Stony a lively place to live – with the Town Crier (Matt Ireland) in full regalia letting everyone know it was happening; the Bard (Sam Upton) and Junior Bard (Isabel Chapman) declaiming wonderfully celebratory verses; the town’s thespians performing with their usual zest; the children planting up the sharing bed with great enthusiasm; SSIB volunteers bringing along a tempting array of plants and tombola prizes; York House volunteers making a luscious array of cakes and the hall beautifully decorated by flowers from Branch-out MK. And from the plants and Tombola we made a stunning £660 from our plant sale and tombola.
