Helping Stony in Bloom with Every Delicious Mouthful!

Once again Stony in Bloom arranged a hugely successful fund-raiser at Calcutta Brasserie. 121 people bought tickets, with £5 from each £16 ticket coming to SSIB.
As always, Calcutta Brasserie laid on a mouth-watering banquet for the guests. The ladies from the Mill Apartments donated a whole array of fabulous prizes; Back to the Fuchsia and Branchoutmk provided beautiful bouquets; and SSIB volunteers donated a number prizes too. No wonder, then, that when ticket and raffle money was counted, SSIB had raised the fantastic sum of £854 for buying plants for the perennial beds this year. Numerous guests took the trouble to tell us how much they’d enjoyed the evening.
