End of Year Party 2016

With our victory in the Britain in Bloom Regional Competition this year - gaining a Gold Award and winning the Small Town Trophy - Stony in Bloom volunteers were very definitely in celebratory mode at the End of Year Party in October! Once again the Greek Church kindly offered the Swinfen Harris Church Hall as the venue, and as always, the volunteers produced a splendid spread.

We always like to take this opportunity to thank our sponsors, the Town Council and Business Association for their support; and also the planter sponsors, individual sponsors and those who offer sponsorship in kind. And of course, we celebrate all our hard work during the year!

The Gold Certificate and Trophy couldn’t be on view at the party as Anne Emel has used them in the beautiful display she has put together in the Library cabinet upstairs.
